Gasparone is a Georg Jacoby–directed musical comedy from 1937 that stars Marika Rökk, Johannes Heesters, and Heinz Schorlemmer. The text was written by F Zell and Richard Genée, and it is based on Carl Millöcker's operetta Gasparone. Production took place in both the Babelsberg Studios and various Croatian locations. Art director Erich Kettelhut created the settings for the picture. It made its world premiere in Berlin's Ufa-Palast am Zoo.
